About
Dr. Rafael Porras DDS, MSD, is a Board Certified Periodontist and Dental Implant Specialist practicing in South Florida.
He was born and raised in San Jose Costa Rica, growing up he frequently visited his relatives in Miami, making the decision to practice in Florida very easy. He is a graduate from the Dental School at the University of Costa Rica where he earned his DDS.
Following that, he completed a two years Advance Education in General Dentistry residency at the University Of Connecticut Health Center and a one year Fellowship in General Dentistry from the University of Connecticut Health Center .
After this he completed a three years Specialty Certificate in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry as well as Master of Science in Dentistry was awarded by the Louisiana State University.
Dr. Porras mission is to provide exceptional dental, periodontal and implant care to his patients using the latest techniques in a stress free enviroment.
When Dr. Porras is not at work, he enjoys the outdoors along with his wife Andreja and sons Liam & Luca can often be found in a park or at the beach enjoying the beautiful Florida weather.
